While big waves may have supplied more wipeouts in the Pro Men Technical race at last year’s Pacific Paddle Games presented by Salt Life, smaller waves meant this year’s race took on a different look. Where luck and surfing ability were critical last year, this year’s conditions favored the most powerful paddlers. In the end, it all came down to an epic battle between Connor Baxter and Lincoln Dews in the finals. Check out the best shots from that race in this exclusive gallery.
